Our Story Begins and Ends With Family

When Ron Meissner founded Meissner Insurance Agency in 1970, he aspired to build protection services tailored to the needs of motorcycle enthusiasts. With the extensive exposures motorcyclists face on the road, Meissner saw an avenue to assist an industry he was personally passionate toward.

Since its humble start more than four decades ago, the agency has continued to evolve and flourish. The greatest example of this transition extends beyond the confines of insurance. Wanting to continue shaping the business her father constructed, Sheryl Meissner purchased the agency in 2003. A natural changeover from father to daughter, Ron has since retired from the business.

Family ties offer a foundation for how we conduct business on a daily business. We view clients as an extension of our family. These relationships developed over time allow us to personalize coverages to fit your needs. As previously noted, our business began by offering niche services within our motorcycle insurance program. We have decades of experience guiding members of the motorcycle community to their destination of adequate insurance coverage. Aside from the insurance services provided, we appreciate the opportunity we’ve had to interact with clients outside of a business setting, particularly at motorcycle rallies.
